Where Time Travels on Four Wheels and Music
The Nethercutt Collection honestly felt like stumbling into a hidden gem from another era. Tucked away in Sylmar, it’s part vintage car heaven, part living museum, and part music box fantasy—and somehow all of it flows together perfectly.
As someone who loves a good road trip and appreciates craftsmanship, walking into a room full of pristine vintage luxury cars was jaw-dropping. We're not talking just ""old cars""—we’re talking elegant, polished masterpieces that feel like they could star in a classic film. Every single one has a story, a soul, and yes—most of them still run.
But what really surprised me was the musical side of the museum. Giant mechanical orchestras, music boxes the size of closets, and early instruments that feel like steampunk dreams come to life. The fact that they actually work is wild. It’s like a private performance from the past.
The space itself is stunning—chandeliers, marble floors, and that quiet kind of reverence you feel in a place where history is still very much alive. It’s free to visit, but the experience is priceless. If you're into design, nostalgia, or just love a good surprise, this spot is a must.
