Hey family! Hope your morning’s off to a peaceful start ☀️ Today, let’s talk about PRIORITIES. Deuteronomy 6:5 tells us to LOVE the LORD our GOD with ALL our HEART, ALL our SOUL, and ALL our STRENGTH. ❤️🔥 That’s not part-time love. That’s full-on, every part of your life, no holding back kind of LOVE.
MOSES gave this command as a final charge to the ISRAELITES before they entered the land of blessing. And JESUS later quoted this verse when the Pharisees tested Him—asking what the most important commandment was. His response? This one right here. ✅
So why do we treat this like a side note? We’re out here letting deadlines, emails, errands, likes, followers, and even ministry distract us from our FIRST LOVE. 📩📱👩🏾💼🧹
Truth is—we’re not too busy. We’re just misaligned. When something matters, we make time. You make time for that show. You make time for the gym. You make time for social media. So let’s make GOD the PRIORITY again. ⏰✝️
Here’s what helps me:
– I start my day in PRAYER 🙏🏾
– I turn on worship while I cook 🍳🎶
– I journal scripture at night ✍🏾📖
These little habits keep me connected and help me stay focused on the ONE who matters most.
Ask yourself today: Does how I spend my TIME reflect how much I say I LOVE GOD?
So today read 🕊️John 14:15 and 🕊️Psalm 63:1 then
let’s stop saying it and start showing it. Let our schedules line up with our HEARTS.
