Hey fam! 💬 Just sitting in reflection tonight and this hit my spirit HARD. 😔 We always hear that the POWER of LIFE and DEATH is in our TONGUE (Proverbs 18:21) 🗣️, and most times we think about how we speak to OTHER people. But what about how we speak to OURSELVES? 🤯
Listen…when we say things like “I’M BROKE💔,” “I’M STUPID🧠,” “I’M UGLY😢,” or “I’M WORTHLESS🙅🏾♀️”—we’re not just being “real” or “honest”—we’re actually GRIEVING the HOLY SPIRIT (Ephesians 4:29–30) 😥 and speaking AGAINST what GOD has said about us. 💔
God calls us CHOSEN💫, LOVED💞, REDEEMED🛐, FEARFULLY and WONDERFULLY MADE🎨. So when we speak things over ourselves that CONTRADICT that, it’s like telling our CREATOR that His work isn’t GOOD ENOUGH. 🙅🏾♂️
Sis, bro…LOVE YOURSELF💝 like God loves you. SPEAK LIFE✨. Declare BLESSINGS💵. Call yourself HEALED💊, STRONG💪🏾, WORTHY👑, and CALLED📣. You are NOT the sum of your bad days. Speak what aligns with HEAVEN, not with HELL. 🕊️
