Sounded just like us…

✨A Light 💡in the Night🌙

Evening blessings, family! 🌙🙏🏾

I had a DEEP🕊️ conversation today with a friend from the ministry team at my job. We were discussing someone who says ALL the right words—"Jesus Christ," "God," "Christian," "love," "fellowship"—but when you really SIT and TALK with them, you realize their BELIEFS⚠️ don’t ALIGN with SCRIPTURE📖.

They speak Christian lingo fluently… but when you go DEEPER🧠, they’ve ADDED🔀 teachings that aren't BIBLICAL🛑. One example? They don’t believe Jesus is ETERNAL👑—instead, they believe He was CREATED👤 and even linked to Lucifer❗️That’s not just off—it’s DANGEROUS💣.

The Holy Spirit whispered to me right then: “THIS is how people get DECEIVED.”💔

If I didn’t KNOW📚 the Word, I might’ve been TRICKED🤯 too. That’s why we CAN’T settle for surface-level FAITH⛅. You need DISCERNMENT🧭 and SOUND DOCTRINE💥 to spot FALSE TEACHING.

Just like how experts detect COUNTERFEIT MONEY💵—they don’t study every fake version. They MASTER the REAL thing. So when a fake shows up, it’s OBVIOUS👀. The SAME goes for our FAITH🛐. Don’t go chasing every worldview—KNOW the GOSPEL📖. STUDY it. LIVE it. DEFEND it.

Even the Bible says in the last days, "the very ELECT will be DECEIVED" (Matthew 24:24). 😓

That’s why we’ve got to GO DEEPER every single day. Let’s not just wear the title “Christian”—let’s KNOW what that means biblically🛡️.

Scriptures to Meditate On🙏🏾:

📖 2 Timothy 2:15

📖 Colossians 2:8

... Read moreIn today's spiritual landscape, being a true follower of Christ requires more than just an outward expression of faith. Many who identify as Christians may use the right terminology but misunderstand essential doctrines. It's crucial to delve deeper into biblical truths and foster a strong foundation in scripture. Learning to discern misinformation is vital, especially in a world filled with different beliefs. The Bible warns about deceptive teachings, as seen in Matthew 24:24, indicating that even the elect could be misled. To enhance your spiritual journey, engage actively with the Bible. Verses such as 2 Timothy 2:15 urge believers to study diligently, while Colossians 2:8 warns against being taken captive by philosophies that are not grounded in Christ. Furthermore, understanding false narratives around Jesus—like the concept that He was created rather than eternal—can safeguard your faith. Be aware of individuals who exhibit a façade of faith but lack alignment with scriptural truth. Genuine faith is marked by a commitment to learn and abide by the gospel. Consider forming study groups, engaging in discussions with seasoned believers, and encouraging each other to ask hard questions. This will build up the community and fortify everyone’s understanding and commitment to genuine Christian doctrine.
