Religious, but not Righteous

Good evening, family! 🌙 I’ve been thinking, and i spoke on this beforere, but I just had to soin the block… Have you ever met someone who makes you feel “less saved” just because you don’t follow their religious checklist? 😤 That “holier-than-thou” spirit is exactly what Jesus warned us against again and again. 📛
Jesus didn’t come to earth for folks who already had it all together 💅🏾—He came for the broken, the messy, the LOST 🧭. The Pharisees knew the scriptures backward and forward 📜 but missed the Savior standing right in front of them. 🤦🏾♀️
And today, we’re seeing the SAME spirit: folks judging others based on church attendance ⛪, diet rules 🥗, or their ability to quote the King James. That’s RELIGIOUS PRIDE 💢. And it STINKS to God (Isaiah 29:13). 😷
Let’s be reminded: we are SAVED BY GRACE, through FAITH ALONE💝—not works (Ephesians 2:8–9). You can pray 100 times a day 🙏🏾, wear your longest skirt 👗, or never miss a Sunday—but if your HEART isn’t full of LOVE 💞, FORGIVENESS 🕊️and MERCY 💧, it means NOTHING (1 Corinthians 13:2).
So let’s throw out the PRIDE 💨 and humble ourselves like the tax collector who beat his chest and cried out for mercy. THAT is what pleases God. 🙌🏾

Let us remember the scripture: “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God” (Ephesians 2:8-9). Therefore, may we strive to cultivate a spirit of love in our community, recognizing that being a follower of Christ requires us to extend grace, just as we have received it.
