Surrender Is the Secret Sauce
Let’s pray 🙏🏾 and get this day underway♥️!
Good morning, y’all! ☀️✨ You ever read a verse for the hundredth time and it STILL hits like the first? 😩💥 That was me with Romans 8:28 today. It’s a crowd favorite for a reason — it tells us that God’s got a plan and it’s gonna be GOOD 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. But here’s the part we skip sometimes — God only works it all out for GOOD for those who are CALLED and those who LOVE HIM ❤️.
That’s not everybody. That’s the ones who are SURRENDERED.
Surrendered doesn’t mean perfect 😓. It means you’ve GIVEN GOD ACCESS 🔑. You’ve stopped wrestling with Him and started RESTING in Him 🛏️. You’ve taken your hands off the wheel and said, “Jesus, YOU drive.” 🛣️
Some of us are frustrated because we don’t see God’s hand moving 🙅🏾♀️ — but we also haven’t fully let go. We're still trying to fix it, control it, or figure it out 🔁. But God works best when we move out the way 🙌🏾.
So whatever you’re going through right now — the job loss 💼, the heartbreak 💔, the delay 🕰️, the diagnosis 🩺 — God can use it. And not just for your good… but for the good of HIS KINGDOM 👑.
Surrender isn’t weakness. It’s STRATEGY 🛡️. Trust God with the parts you don’t understand. He’s never wasted a trial — and He won’t start with you 🫱🏾♀️.

Surrendering to God is not about giving up; it's about letting go of our need to control the outcome. Many believers struggle with feelings of frustration when their lives aren't unfolding as expected. By acknowledging that God's understanding surpasses our comprehension, we can find peace in the unknown. Consider the various forms of hardships we face: job loss, relationship challenges, or health issues. Each of these can be avenues for God to work profoundly in our lives, shaping us and preparing us for greater purposes. The act of surrender requires vulnerability and courage. It is when we release our grip and invite God in that we truly see His hand at work. Meditating on Scriptures like Psalm 37:5 and Isaiah 55:8–9 encourages us to place our trust in the Lord and embrace His plans, knowing they are far better than our own. When we rely on His promise, we can transform trials into testimonies of faith. Surrender becomes not an admission of defeat, but a strategy in our spiritual journey, granting us access to serenity and purpose in the chaos of life.
