SURRENDER LEADS TO REPENTANCE ❤️‍🔥

It's not just about saying 'sorry' to God; it's a deep heart change that leads to incredible freedom. When I first read James 4:7 – 'Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you' – it felt like a powerful command. But what does it really mean to submit? For me, it's about acknowledging that God's way is always better, even when it's hard. It’s about letting go of my own control and trusting His perfect plan. And when you do that, resisting the devil's whispers of doubt and temptation becomes so much clearer. You realize his lies have no power when you're rooted in God. Many of you might be asking, 'What about repentance?' It's a cornerstone of our faith. It's not just feeling bad for what you've done; it’s a radical turning away from sin and turning towards God. A scripture that really brings this home for me is Psalm 51:1-2. David cries out, 'Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions. Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.' This isn't just about forgiveness; it’s about a deep desire for cleansing and a fresh start. It shows us that true repentance comes from a humble heart, seeking God's mercy and restoration. Practically, surrendering to God spiritually means a daily commitment. It's about recognizing that GOD IS CALLING YOU INTO DEEPER WATERS! He wants to take you further in your faith, to a place of greater trust and intimacy. Just like the prodigal son who was welcomed back with open arms, God longs to restore and rebirth us when we turn back to Him with a repentant heart. His grace is abundant, and He always has a plan for our restoration. So, let’s embrace that call, humble ourselves, and allow Him to lead us into that safe place of peace and strength.
