Love Them Now!
✨A Light 💡in the Night🌙
Hey family 💛,
Tonight’s devotion is heavy on my heart 💔. There was a FLASH FLOOD in Texas today 🌊, and several people—many of them CHILDREN—are still MISSING 🧒🏽🙏🏽. It’s a somber REMINDER that TRAGEDY can strike at ANY MOMENT ⏳. Life is FRAGILE 💔. No day is promised. No minute guaranteed.
We need to LOVE the people God has placed in our lives—NOW 💞. Not later. Not when it's convenient. RIGHT NOW. Hug them 🤗. Forgive them 🙏🏽. Tell them you LOVE them 💬💗. Don’t let unresolved issues harden your heart 🪨. We are called to WALK in LOVE 💕 just as CHRIST did—sacrificially and without delay 🕊️.
Ephesians 5:1–2 tells us to “be IMITATORS of GOD” and “walk in LOVE just as CHRIST also loved you and gave Himself up for us.” That’s the STANDARD 🙌🏽. Not just words—but ACTIONS backed by COMPASSION ❤️.
Let’s lift up the families affected by this tragedy in PRAYER 🙏🏽 and ask God to COMFORT them, PROTECT the missing, and RESTORE what’s been lost 🌧️🌈. And while we still have breath in our lungs—let’s LOVE WELL 💯.
Scriptures to Reflect On🙏🏾:
🕊️ Ephesians 5:1–2
🕊️ James 4:14

The recent flash flood in Texas has highlighted the sudden fragility of life and the importance of expressing love and compassion immediately. Natural disasters, especially flash floods, can be devastating, often leaving families torn apart and communities grappling with loss. The emotional weight carried by those affected is immense, especially when children are among the missing. Love, in this context, transcends a mere feeling—it becomes a proactive commitment grounded in faith and compassion. Ephesians 5:1–2 challenges believers to imitate God’s love, reflecting Christ’s self-sacrificial example. This kind of love involves forgiveness, reconciliation, and tangible acts of kindness towards others, especially during times of crisis. Prayer also plays a vital role in providing solace and hope. Lifting up those impacted by tragedy invites divine comfort and healing. It fosters a sense of unity and collective strength, reminding individuals that they are not alone in their struggles. Additionally, understanding the unpredictable nature of life, as James 4:14 reminds us, encourages living with intentionality and gratitude. Every moment is precious, and spontaneous expression of love can heal wounds and build bridges where misunderstandings once prevailed. Communities affected by natural disasters benefit greatly from support networks that combine emotional, spiritual, and practical assistance. Volunteering, advocacy, and donation efforts are powerful ways to embody love and compassion in action. Engaging with hashtags like #PrayForTexas and #LovePeopleWell not only spreads awareness but also fosters a global community bonded in empathy and hope. Such movements remind us that even in darkness, a light of love remains—a beacon guiding us all to cherish those around us right now, not later. Ultimately, LOVING NOW is a call to break down barriers, forgive past hurts, and prioritize meaningful connections. This devotional message serves as a poignant reminder to walk in love daily, inspired by Christ’s example, and to act with urgency because no day or minute is ever guaranteed.
