Light that leads to the Cross!
Let’s pray 🙏🏾 and get this day underway♥️!
Good morning my beautiful family! 🌅❤️ I hope you’re ready to walk in PURPOSE🔥 today. Matthew 5:16 tells us — “Let your LIGHT💡 shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works and GLORIFY your Father in heaven.”
This is a BEAUTIFUL📖 verse, but here’s the key — it’s not just about shining… it’s about WHY✨ you shine. We’ve all heard, “Don’t do it for show 🎭. Don’t post📱 just for likes. Don’t brag📢 about what you’ve done.” And that’s TRUE✅. But Jesus ALSO says, “Let your LIGHT shine so others can SEE👀.”
The difference? HEART POSTURE❤️. When you shine to elevate YOUR NAME🏆, it’s SELF-centered🚫. When you shine to point people to JESUS✝️, it’s GOD-centered💯. Same action, two very different KINGDOM outcomes.
When you serve 🤝🏾, give🎁, teach📖, or encourage💬, ask yourself — “Is this leading people to ME or to the CROSS✝️?” We’re called to be the HANDS👐🏾 and FEET🚶🏾♀️ of Christ so the world🌍 can see HIM through us.
So today, my prayer is simple: “Lord, let my LIGHT🌟 guide people straight to YOU. Let my life be a billboard that points to Your goodness 🙏🏾.”
📖 Read these too😊🙏🏾: John 3:30, Galatians 6:14

I've often heard the term 'Christ consciousness' and, honestly, it always felt a bit... abstract, perhaps even outside my traditional understanding of faith. But after reflecting on what it truly means to 'Let your light shine' for God, as the article beautifully explains, I've started to see a profound connection. For me, 'Christ consciousness' isn't about some new-age philosophy; it's about fully embodying the spirit and teachings of Jesus in every fiber of my being. It's about letting His divine love and purpose become the very essence of my actions and thoughts. When the article talks about 'heart posture' – whether we're shining to elevate ourselves or to point people to Jesus – it really hit home. This is where the symbolism of 'Christ consciousness' truly comes alive. It's not just about what we do, but the consciousness behind it. Are we consciously allowing God's light to flow through us, or are we trying to generate our own, often fleeting, glow? The prayer on my wall often reminds me: 'God, show me how I can shine for You. Let my life be bold and bright as I share You with those around me.' This isn't about my light; it's about His light, reflecting through me. The symbolism of 'light' itself is incredibly powerful. Jesus called Himself the 'Light of the World,' and He calls us to be lights, too. This isn't just a metaphor for good deeds. It symbolizes an inner transformation, a spiritual awakening where our awareness shifts from self-centered desires to a God-centered purpose. Cultivating this 'Christ consciousness' means constantly asking: 'Is this action, this word, this thought, leading others to me or to the Cross?' It demands a 'courage and awareness' to 'stand for You even when things seem dark,' as my prayer says. It's a continuous process of aligning our will with His, allowing His character – His love, compassion, grace, and truth – to manifest in our daily lives. For me, living with this consciousness means actively seeking opportunities to be the 'hands and feet of Christ.' It means recognizing that every interaction, every challenge, every joy, is a chance to reflect His presence. It's a conscious decision to choose love over judgment, forgiveness over bitterness, and service over self-interest. It's a deep prayer in 'Jesus' name' that my life would be a beacon, not just flickering occasionally, but consistently radiating His goodness. It's about letting my entire existence become a testimony to the transformative power of God's love, allowing others to see Him through me, and ultimately, guiding them 'straight to YOU.' It's a journey, but one where every step, every conscious choice, brings me closer to truly embodying that divine purpose.
