The Missing Awe

✨A Light 💡in the Night🌙

Hey family 💕🌙 Tonight I want to talk about something that’s been on my heart 💔—the FEAR OF THE LORD 😔🔥. I saw a video of a pastor rebuking a member who gave a generous offering 💸, turning what should’ve been an act of WORSHIP 🙌🏾 into a display of EGO 😞. And it hit me… have we lost our sense of AWE for God?

The FEAR of the LORD isn’t about being afraid—it’s about knowing WHO GOD IS 👑 and aligning our lives with HIS WAYS 💫. It’s about HONOR, REVERENCE, and HUMILITY before the Creator 🌍🙇🏾‍♀️. When leaders forget that, it reflects a heart that’s strayed from WISDOM and TRUTH 💔. Scripture warns us that “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble” (James 4:6).

As believers, we must PRAY 🙏🏾 for our pastors, intercede for our churches 🕊️, and walk in our own FEAR of the LORD—living every day aware that we serve a HOLY GOD 🔥❤️. Reverence is what keeps us from pride. It keeps our hearts in ALIGNMENT, our tongues in CHECK, and our worship PURE 🙌🏾💧.

Let’s return to that sacred AWE that reminds us who’s really on the throne 👑—and may we do all things to please HIM, not men (or ourselves).
