The God Who Makes Hard Things Possible

Let’s pray 🙏🏾 and get this day underway♥️!

Hey family 💛☀️ I hope you're doing well this morning 🥰. Today’s scripture, Matthew 19:26, is one we hear often — but today we’re reading it CORRECTLY and in CONTEXT📖👓.

Jesus wasn’t saying we can just dream big and it’ll magically happen 🦸🏾‍♀️✨. He wasn’t talking about us jumping buildings or manifesting whatever we want 🙄💅🏾. He was responding to a wealthy man💼💰 who wanted salvation but didn’t want to give up what was holding his HEART💔.

That man missed his moment because HE COULDN’T LET GO 😔.

Sometimes our “riches” are:

👉🏾 a toxic relationship 🚫❤️

👉🏾 a habit we cling to 🍾

👉🏾 fear, pride, or control 😤

👉🏾 a job or identity we’ve idolized 💼

And when God says “Release it,” we say, “But that’s too HARD.”

That’s where THIS VERSE speaks LOUD 🔊🔥 — what feels IMPOSSIBLE to us becomes POSSIBLE WITH GOD 🙌🏾.

God never asks you to give up something without exchanging it for FREEDOM, PEACE, PURPOSE, and JOY 🌿🕊️💛.

So today… let’s slow down 🧘🏾‍♀️, reflect 📝, read the WORD carefully, not casually. And if God is tugging your heart💗 about something you’ve held onto — pray, surrender, and trust Him.

He WILL strengthen you 💪🏾.

He WILL walk with you 🚶🏾‍♀️.

He WILL make the impossible doable 🙌🏾🔥.

🕊️Scriptures to Meditate On🙏🏾:

• Romans 12:1–2

• Philippians 4:13

... Read moreIn life, we often find ourselves holding tightly to things that hinder our spiritual growth and personal peace. Whether it's a toxic relationship, persistent fear, pride, or an identity tied too closely to a job or role, these can become chains that restrict our freedom. The prayer highlighted in the images beautifully captures this struggle—the plea to God to 'unclench my closed fists' expresses a heartfelt desire to release what holds us back. This action of surrender is not a sign of weakness but of profound faith and trust in God’s transformative power. Many of us battle daily with selfish desires and thoughts that make challenges seem insurmountable. It’s in these moments that the scripture Matthew 19:26 reminds us: “With God, all things are possible.” This means that what feels impossible to us, whether it’s letting go of control, overcoming addiction, or healing from deep emotional wounds, can become achievable when we rely on God’s strength. True spiritual growth happens when we recognize what we need to release and trust that God will provide us with freedom, peace, purpose, and joy in exchange. It emphasizes the importance of reading scripture carefully and contextually, understanding that faith isn’t about wishful thinking but about obedience and surrender when faced with difficulty. Scriptures like Romans 12:1–2 encourage us to present ourselves as living sacrifices, transformed by the renewing of our minds. Philippians 4:13 further strengthens this message, affirming that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. These verses work hand in hand to foster resilience and hope. By engaging in prayer regularly, such as the heartfelt prayer of releasing what holds us back, we align ourselves with God’s will. This process nurtures spiritual peace and the courage to move forward, making what once seemed impossible entirely doable. Letting go, though hard, is the gateway to spiritual freedom and fulfillment. Trusting God’s timing and guidance invites peace in the process, reminding us that He walks beside us every step of the way.
