Feed What You Want To Grow

✨A Light 💡in the Night🌙

Good evening family 💛🙏🏾. Tonight, we continue our 31 DAYS OF PREPARATION AND MEDITATION as we intentionally ready our hearts for 2026 🕊️✨. This season is about slowing down, listening closely, and allowing God to STRENGTHEN OUR FOUNDATION before we step into what’s next. Today’s theme is FEED YOUR FAITH 🍞✨, rooted in Romans 10:17, which reminds us that FAITH COMES FROM HEARING, and hearing comes from the WORD OF CHRIST 📖. As we prepare for the year ahead, this reflection calls us to examine what we’re nourishing daily—because faith doesn’t grow by accident; it grows when it is intentionally FED 🙌🏾✨.

Faith is the QUINTESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTE of the Christian life 🙌🏾. Without faith, we can’t trust God, obey God, or walk with God. But here’s the reality—faith must be FED 🍞✨. Just like our bodies weaken without food, our faith weakens when we stop taking in God’s truth.

We all put faith in something 🤔. We trust jobs, people, money, routines, and even our own understanding. But BIBLICAL FAITH must be ROOTED IN GOD 🌱🙏🏾. When our faith is anchored anywhere else, fear 😟, doubt ❓, and frustration 😩 begin to take over.

There’s an old illustration about two forces battling within us—fear versus faith 🐺🐺. The one that wins is the one you FEED. When you feed fear, it grows louder 📢. When you feed faith, it grows STRONGER 💪🏾✨.

Tonight, take a moment to EXAMINE YOUR FAITH 🔍🙏🏾. Are you walking in faith or reacting in fear? Are there areas where your faith feels weak, stretched, or tired? Bring those places to the Lord 🕊️. Ask Him to SUSTAIN, STRENGTHEN, and GROW your faith.

Faith isn’t about perfection—it’s about PERSISTENT TRUST 🤍. Keep hearing the Word. Keep feeding your faith. Keep walking forward 🚶🏾‍♀️✨.

... Read moreFaith is much like a garden: it needs consistent nourishment and care to thrive and produce fruit. The phrase "Feed What You Want To Grow" perfectly captures this spiritual truth. The OCR text mentioning "WORD OF FERTILIZER FAITH" evokes this imagery—just as plants require fertilizer to grow healthy and strong, our faith needs the 'word' of God as its spiritual fertilizer. In practical terms, feeding your faith means immersing yourself regularly in the scriptures, prayer, worship, and fellowship with other believers. Romans 10:17 highlights that "faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ." This means that hearing and meditating on God’s Word is essential to cultivate faith. Without it, just like a plant deprived of nutrients, faith weakens and becomes vulnerable to fear, doubt, and frustration. It’s critical to evaluate what you are feeding daily. Are your thoughts and heart absorbing encouragement, truth, and hope from God’s promises? Or are you allowing negativity and worldly distractions to nourish your spirit? The battle between fear and faith is ongoing; whichever you feed will become dominant. Feeding faith involves choosing to trust God even when circumstances seem uncertain. Additionally, growing faith requires patience and persistence. Faith is not about perfection but persistent trust—choosing to lean into God's truth day after day. Practical habits like daily Bible reading, listening to sermons, journaling your spiritual insights, and engaging in community conversations about faith can all serve as spiritual fertilizers. They replenish your soul and help your faith mature. As you prepare your heart for 2026, take time to identify areas where your faith feels stretched or tired. Bring these struggles before God, asking Him to sustain and strengthen those areas. Remember, spiritual growth is a journey, not a race. Just as a gardener continually tends to their plants, consistently feeding your faith ensures it remains strong and ready for new challenges and blessings. In summary, "Feed What You Want To Grow" is a powerful reminder that our spiritual life demands intentional nourishment. By anchoring your faith in God’s word and committing to daily spiritual practices, you create fertile ground for lasting growth in your relationship with God.
