When Your Spirit Says “No More!”

✨A Light 💡in the Night🌙

Hey family 💛🙏🏾 tonight’s devotion came from a very ordinary moment—but God used it in an EXTRAORDINARY way 🕊️✨. I was at my dining room table 🍽️, half-listening to the TV 📺, when someone started using profanity 😬. Immediately, I felt UNEASY 😔 in my spirit.

What hit me was this: that reaction was NEW 🌱. There was a season when that kind of language didn’t move me at all 🤷🏾‍♀️. But now? My spirit said, “This doesn’t belong.” 🚫 And that’s when the HOLY SPIRIT 🕊️ gently reminded me—this is what GROWTH looks like. 🙌🏾

Growth in Christ isn’t just about what you DO 🛠️—it’s about what your HEART 💖 no longer agrees with. When God begins renewing your mind 🧠✨, your tolerance shifts. What once felt NORMAL starts feeling OUT OF PLACE 🧩.

Scripture tells us we are CALLED OUT 🚶🏾‍♀️ from the patterns of this world 🌍. That means your standards change 📏. Your desires change 🔄. Your appetite changes 🍽️. And yes—your COMFORT ZONES change 😌➡️😬.

So if you’re noticing that certain conversations 🗣️, entertainment 📺, or behaviors 🚫 just don’t sit right anymore—DON’T IGNORE IT 🙏🏾. That’s not judgment; that’s DISCERNMENT 🕊️. That’s not weakness; that’s MATURITY 🌱.

I rejoiced tonight 🎉 because I realized God is still WORKING 🛠️ on me. And if He’s still working on you too—THAT is something to THANK HIM FOR 🙌🏾✨.
