Don’t Ignore The Check!
✨A Light 💡in the Night🌙
Good evening my family 💛🌙🙏🏾
Let me say this gently… if you’re living with NO CONVICTION 💔, no CORRECTION 📖, and everything feels COMFORTABLE 😌… pause ⏸️ and EXAMINE 🔍 your WALK 🚶🏾♀️ with GOD 🙌🏾.
Jesus told us we would face TRIALS ⚔️ and be CHALLENGED 🧱 (John 16:33). Following Him isn’t meant to feel effortless all the time. There should be GROWTH 🌱, STRETCHING 📏, and yes… CONVICTION 💡.
Conviction is a GIFT 🎁. It’s the HOLY SPIRIT 🕊️ saying, “Come back… you’re off track.” That FEELING 😔 is MERCY ❤️.
But when someone keeps choosing DISOBEDIENCE 🚫, the Bible says God may give them over to their desires (Romans 1:28). That’s a SCARY PLACE 😨 because REPENTANCE 🔁 is no longer on the mind.
So if you still feel conviction, still feel that HOLY CHECK ✔ ️… REJOICE 🙌🏾. That means your HEART 💗 is still SOFT and your ears are still OPEN 👂🏾.
I don’t want EASY ❌… I want ALIGNMENT 🔥 with GOD.

In my personal journey, I've realized how crucial it is to recognize and embrace spiritual conviction as an essential part of growing closer to God. Often, life’s comfort zones can make us complacent, but that uncomfortable feeling of conviction is actually a merciful sign that the Holy Spirit is gently steering us back when we stray. It’s a subtle yet powerful reminder—not a punishment—that we have room to grow and realign ourselves with God's purpose. I remember a time when I was so comfortable in my routine that I thought no news was good news regarding my spiritual life. But then came moments where I felt an inner nagging, a kind of holy check that prompted me to pause and examine my actions and thoughts. This conviction wasn't easy or pleasant—it felt like confrontation with my shortcomings—but it was a gift that saved me from continuing in disobedience or denial. The Bible verses John 16:33 and Romans 1:28 remind us that trials and challenges are part of the faith walk. I’ve learned that these challenges help stretch and grow us spiritually. When we respond to conviction with repentance and humility, it softens our hearts and keeps us open to God’s guidance. Conversely, ignoring these checks can lead to a dangerous spiritual place where repentance becomes distant, and our desires drive our actions rather than God’s will. The encouragement I want to share is this: if you feel that inner conviction, rejoice! It means your spirit is alive and responsive. Don’t dismiss it as guilt or discomfort. Instead, see it as the Holy Spirit's loving way of keeping your heart soft and your path aligned with God’s truth. Choosing alignment over ease might be challenging, but it leads to genuine spiritual growth and peace beyond comfort. Embrace the check—it’s a light in the night guiding you back home.
