Stop Calling It God If It’s Not!
✨A Light 💡in the Night🌙
Hey family, good evening 💛🙏🏾
I was watching something earlier and it really stirred me… we’ve got to be careful about what we ATTRIBUTE to God 🙏🏾📖. Some people will say “God is BLESSING me” 💰✨ while living in complete CONTRADICTION 🚫 of His WORD 📖.
Let’s be clear… GOD does NOT CONTRADICT HIMSELF ❗🙏🏾 He is HOLY ✨, RIGHTEOUS ⚖️, and CONSISTENT 🔁. If His Word says something is SIN 🚫, He’s not suddenly calling it a BLESSING 💡 just because times have changed ⏳.
God is not evolving with culture 🌍❌. He is the SAME GOD yesterday, today, and forever 🔥📖. His CHARACTER ❤️, His STANDARD 📏, and His TRUTH 🕊️ do not shift.
So before we THANK GOD 🙌🏾 for something, we need to CHECK it 🔍. Does it ALIGN with His WORD 📖? His WILL 🙏🏾? His NATURE ✨?
Because if it contradicts Him… it didn’t come from Him 🚫🔥.
🕊️Scriptures to Meditate On🙏🏾

In my personal journey of faith, I’ve often noticed how easy it is to hear people attribute every good thing directly to God without reflecting deeply on whether those things truly align with biblical principles. It’s refreshing to come across messages reminding us that God’s nature is steadfast — holy, righteous, and consistent — as emphasized in scriptures like Malachi 3:6 which states, “I the LORD do not change.” From my experience, this understanding fundamentally impacts how we give thanks and interpret life’s events. For example, when someone claims “God is blessing me” while engaging in activities that contradict the moral teachings of the Bible, it can create confusion about God’s true will and nature. Recognizing that God does not bless sin or contradictions helps protect our faith from distorted beliefs influenced by shifting cultural norms. I recall a time when I struggled with acknowledging certain successes in my life because they seemed to come through questionable means or circumstances. Reflecting on scriptures and the unchanging character of God helped me realign my perspective and seek blessings that honor His Word. This practice of discerning and checking what we attribute to God has brought me peace and clarity. It’s also valuable to consider that blessings are not only material but can include peace, growth, restoration, and guidance—all consistent with God's nature. Keeping a close relationship with Scripture and maintaining spiritual discernment enables us to recognize true blessings and avoid misattribution, which is a form of spiritual misunderstanding. For anyone wrestling with how to interpret blessings or life’s circumstances, I encourage consistent meditation on verses like James 1:17, which reminds us that “every good and perfect gift is from above.” Staying grounded in God’s Word helps maintain a faithful and sound understanding of His unchanging truth, preventing confusion as culture around us evolves.
