The Call To Make Peace
Let’s pray 🙏🏾 and get this day underway♥️!
Hey family ❤️🔥, good morning to y’all ☀️. Today the Lord reminded me that being a PEACEMAKER is not the same as being a PEACEKEEPER 🙏🏽. A peacekeeper avoids conflict 🤎, but a PEACEMAKER steps INTO it with COURAGE, HUMILITY, and a DESIRE to HONOR GOD 💛. Matthew 5:9 says we are BLESSED when we choose PEACE✨— because that’s when we are SEEN and CALLED CHILDREN OF GOD 👑.
But here’s the part folks don’t always talk about… being a PEACEMAKER means you might be MISUNDERSTOOD 😔. You may not fit neatly on “either side” of the conflict 🤷🏽♀️. You may feel alone sometimes 🫶🏾. But PEACEMAKERS are BRIDGE‑BUILDERS, and that takes a CERTAIN HEART, a CERTAIN GRACE, and the HELP OF THE HOLY SPIRIT🔥.
So today ask yourself… am I a PEACEMAKER, a PEACEKEEPER, or a CHAOS STARTER? 😬 A peacemaker actively SEEKS PEACE, SPEAKS PEACE, and WALKS PEACE — and it all starts with a HUMBLE HEART 🤎.

From my personal experience, embracing the role of a peacemaker is truly transformative but also challenging. Unlike peacekeepers who try to avoid conflict, stepping into conflict with courage and humility can often make you feel vulnerable and even misunderstood. I remember a time when I tried to mediate between two friends during a tough disagreement. It wasn’t easy, and at times I questioned whether I should just stay neutral instead of intervening. However, focusing on the desire to honor God and seeking peace as described in Matthew 5:9 encouraged me to stay committed. Praying for guidance and relying on the Holy Spirit for grace, I was able to maintain a calm heart and speak words that encouraged understanding rather than division. This experience taught me that peacemaking is not about taking sides but about becoming a bridge-builder who fosters reconciliation and healing. It truly starts with cultivating a humble and loving heart, eager to spread love instead of fear, echoing the prayer that asks God to help us live at peace even when faced with hatred or injustice. In daily life, whether in family, work, or community, being a peacemaker invites us to actively seek peace, speak peace, and walk peace. It means choosing actions guided by faith, courage, and compassion. The journey can be lonely, but the blessings of being called a child of God and the presence of the Holy Spirit are powerful reminders that we are never truly alone in this mission. I encourage anyone who feels called to make peace to embrace the discomfort, trust the spirit’s help, and know that even small acts of peace can make a profound difference.
