Windy Day at CocoCay + New Theme Night

My CocoCay experience on Wonder of the Seas was definitely memorable, especially with that unexpected wind! If you're heading there, here are some things I learned. Even on a blustery day, there's so much to enjoy. For instance, securing your hat and sunglasses is a must, and don't be afraid to embrace the waves – they add to the adventure! We still had a blast exploring the island from the stunning pier, past the iconic 'Perfect Day' sign, soaking in the vibe even if getting splashed a bit. Speaking of CocoCay's wonders, that $250M makeover truly shines. I was amazed by the sheer scale of the Thrill Waterpark, home to Daredevil's Peak – North America's tallest waterslide! It's a real adrenaline rush. And if you prefer relaxing, the Oasis Lagoon, the Caribbean's largest freshwater pool, is pure bliss. It has swim-up bars and plenty of space to chill. Beyond these, don't miss exploring Chill Island for a quieter beach experience or trying the Zip Line for incredible aerial views of the island. When hunger strikes, CocoCay has some great casual options. Skipper's Grill and the Snack Shack offer delicious burgers, hot dogs, and some lighter bites, perfect for a quick refuel before heading back to the action. Make sure to grab your complimentary towels from the ship before you head off, and lockers are available if you want to keep your valuables safe while you splash around. Later that evening, back on the Wonder of the Seas, the atmosphere completely transformed for Halloween night! It was incredible to see how many people really got into the spirit. From elaborate costumes to fun, simple outfits like animal-themed onesies, everyone was celebrating. Royal Caribbean hosts fantastic themed parties throughout the ship. I loved seeing the deck parties come alive with music and spooky decorations. It's definitely an experience you won't want to miss if your cruise falls on a holiday! Overall, even with a little wind, my day at CocoCay and the Halloween night on Wonder of the Seas made for an unforgettable cruise. It just goes to show that even when things aren't 'perfect,' a Royal Caribbean cruise still offers incredible fun and unique experiences. Definitely take advantage of all the amenities and themed events they offer!
