Moving my Pathos to her new home.

She started as a leaf that I propagated from my Pathos and i loved how she he and formed in the vase so I left her there. Today I decided to put her in a bigger vase and free up her roots to do whatever she wants to do. I'm excited to see where she goes from here. I'm Yolanda and I'm a plant mom💚🌿🪴.#plantprogress #pathosplant #plantmom #mypeacefulplace

... Read moreTransplanting my Pothos has been such a fulfilling experience that I’m eager to share. When I first propagated her from a single leaf, I placed her carefully in a small vase where I watched her delicate roots and leaves form and grow. It’s incredible how resilient these plants are—starting from such a tiny cutting and eventually thriving. After some time, I noticed the roots becoming a bit cramped, signaling that it was time to transplant. Moving her to a bigger vase not only freed the roots but gave her more space to expand and absorb nutrients. This step is essential for Pothos health, as crowded roots can stunt growth and make the plant vulnerable. During the transplant, I gently rinsed the roots to remove old soil and checked for any unhealthy parts. I used fresh, well-draining soil to promote aeration and prevent root rot. Choosing a vase with good drainage is crucial for Pothos plants because they dislike sitting in soggy soil. As a plant mom, I love observing how my Pothos adjusts to her new home. I make sure she receives bright, indirect light, as direct sunlight can scorch her leaves. I also maintain moderate humidity and water when the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch. These simple care tips make a world of difference. Watching my Pothos grow freely and healthily after the transplant has given me so much joy. For anyone propagating or repotting Pothos, patience and gentle care will surely pay off. Your plant will thank you by flourishing and becoming a beautiful green companion in your space. If you’re thinking about propagating or moving your own Pothos, remember that providing ample root space and the right environment are key steps to ensure success. It’s a fantastic journey watching life grow from a tiny leaf into a lush, thriving plant.
