I found this bright patch of Tansy Ragwort growing wild by the road, and when I finally stopped and looked closely, it was absolutely covered in these little soldier beetles. They are super active late-summer pollinators that love feeding on nectar from flowers like these. They just spend their days flying between blooms, doing their thing, completely harmless and unbothered.
Seeing an entire tiny ecosystem thriving on a single weed really put things into perspective today. We are always rushing, but nature has its own perfect, slow rhythm.
