These are the products that made my skin so soft for years.
💌 Brand:
Hatomuigi - I used this first as a base primer on my body. It's kinda annoying because it's liquid but it will make your body hydrated while your doin' your skincare on your face. You can use it also on your face as face mist or a toner, but it works also on my body.
💵 Price: 6 to 8 usd.
Rice Niacinamide body lotion - My holy grail lotion, I can't live without this lotion. It smells really good and dry easily once you put it on your body. It will make your skin smooth and soft. The only lotion i hoard whenever I'm on Tjmaxx cause you never know when they gonna have it again. 🥺
💵 Price: 5.99
Midha body oil - is a must have. This body oil can be use if you're a person who is not into lotion. It will hydrate your skin the whole day and it will leave your skin really smooth and soft now I added it as my holy grail. It's irrepleceable for me, I've seen what it does on my skin without using body lotion just to find out how it's gonna work on my skin.
💵 Price: 5.99
But I'm using all of it for every bath. It works one me, maybe it will work on you too. Sharing is caring ❤️😘

... Read moreAfter my daily bath, I always make sure to follow up with a moisturizing routine that keeps my skin feeling soft and fresh all day long. One tip I’ve learned through personal experience is that layering different hydration products can seriously boost your skin’s moisture retention.
I start with a hydrating toner like the Hatomugi lotion, which is lightweight but incredibly effective at prepping my skin for the next steps. While it’s marketed as a face toner, I find it works wonders on the body too, especially after washing — it instantly boosts my skin’s moisture levels and feels very refreshing.
Next, I apply a rich but fast-absorbing body lotion enriched with rice niacinamide. This ingredient is known to help brighten and smooth skin while improving texture without leaving any greasy residue. The Rice Niacinamide body lotion I use has a lovely subtle scent and dries down quickly, allowing me to get dressed without feeling sticky.
For days when I want a little extra nourish, or if my skin feels drier, I use a body oil like Midha’s Brown Rice Body Oil with vanilla wood scent. Body oils are fantastic for locking in moisture and giving the skin a natural glow. Unlike thick creams, the oil absorbs well and doesn’t clog my pores, which is a huge plus.
Based on my experience, having a few versatile products that suit your skin type and your lifestyle is key — sometimes a lightweight toner and lotion are enough; other times, a hydrating oil adds that extra level of care. Importantly, these products are affordable and easy to find, making them great options for everyday use without breaking the bank.
Ultimately, consistency is what makes a difference. Using these products after every bath has improved my skin’s softness and hydration remarkably over time. If you struggle with dry or rough skin, I highly recommend exploring similar layers in your body care routine and seeing how your skin responds. Sharing what worked for me is my way of hoping it helps others achieve their best skin too.
