Is your team running on a hamster wheel? 🛞

Many leaders believe burnout is solely a workload issue. They offer wellness apps or extra days off, but the root cause often remains. Realise that burnout is frequently a 'contribution deficit', where your team works hard without seeing the actual impact of their efforts.

To fix this, you need to find the 'sweet spot' known as the 'Zone of Possibility'. This occurs when high expectations are perfectly balanced with high support. If you only push for results, you create anxiety; if you only offer support, you risk stagnation.

Effective management requires a personal investment in your team's success. It means having one hand pushing them to be their best while the other supports them through 'tricky terrain'. It is about making people feel valued by connecting their daily tasks to specific, positive outcomes.
