Types of witches🧙🏻

2025/9/1 Edited to

... Read moreHey everyone! 👋 After exploring the basic types of witches, I wanted to dive a little deeper into what makes each path so unique and magical. It's fascinating how many ways there are to connect with the craft, and honestly, finding your own niche can be one of the most rewarding parts of the journey! Let's talk about some of my favorites and what they truly embody. First up, Kitchen Witches. Oh, how I adore them! Their magic is all about the hearth and home, infusing everyday tasks with intention. Think about brewing a calming tea with specific herbs (like chamomile for peace!) or baking bread with intentions for abundance. It's all about making your space sacred and your food magical. You don't need fancy tools; your kitchen is your altar, and your ingredients are your spells. It's so practical and grounding! Then there's the Green Witch, a true nature lover. If you feel most at home among trees, with dirt under your fingernails, this might resonate with you. Green witches work closely with plants, herbs, and the cycles of the earth. They might grow their own magical garden, craft potions from natural ingredients, or use flowers in their rituals. It's a deeply ecological path, focusing on healing and connecting with the natural world. I've been trying to grow my own rosemary for protection, and it's such a fulfilling process! The Lunar Witch captivates me with their connection to the moon. They harness the moon's phases for their spellwork – new moon for new beginnings, full moon for charging and manifesting. It's a very intuitive and cyclical path, often involving moonlit rituals, scrying, or simply meditating under the lunar glow. Understanding the moon's influence on me has been a game-changer, especially for my personal growth cycles! And let's not forget the Eclectic Witch – this is where many of us start, and often choose to stay! An Eclectic witch doesn't stick to one tradition but blends practices from various paths that resonate with them. It's all about personalizing your craft. You might use tarot cards for divination one day, and sea shells for a cleansing spell the next, drawing on the wisdom of a Sea Witch. It's truly about following your intuition and creating a practice that feels authentic to YOU. There's no right or wrong way to be eclectic, and that's the beauty of it. How to Discover Your Own Witchy Path & Witchcraft Tips: If you're wondering 'how to become a witch' or which type suits you, my biggest tip is to explore! Read books, watch documentaries, and observe what calls to you. Do you feel drawn to the ocean? Maybe a Sea Witch path awaits! Are the stars your guide and do constellations fascinate you? Explore Cosmic Witchcraft. Don't feel pressured to pick one label immediately. Your path is personal and can evolve over time. Experiment with different types of magick and see what feels right in your soul. Maybe you'll find yourself drawn to divination with a tarot card deck, or connecting with ancestors and the cycles of life and death, much like a Death Witch. Remember, the journey is just as important as the destination. Embrace what feels authentic to you, and don't be afraid to mix and match elements from different types of witchcraft. Happy exploring!
