a bit of a vulnerable one, just a few words on my heart recently 🤍

if you gain weight as a result of being adequately nourished - you were supposed to. 🫶🏼

overcoming an unhealthy relationship with food/your body in itself is difficult, but SO worth it in the end.

with that said: for those that overcame an ED/unhealthy relationship with food & THEN dealt with something that challenged your (now healthy) relationship with food/your body that you worked so hard to build: you are not alone and struggle makes us human. controlling or mean thoughts may arise, but those thoughts are never YOU. because YOU would never say those things to others, so they surely don’t belong as real thoughts toward yourself. the biggest key: those thoughts don’t have to hold power over your anymore like they used to. not this time. ❤️‍🩹

being healthy is a privilege. being able to eat normally without a second thought is a privilege. being able to move or workout whenever you feel like it, is a privilege. 🤍

& one last reminder: if you are now gaining weight as a result of a healthy relationship with food, your body, fitness, and you are adequately nourished… it means your body feels safe again and the weight gain is simply a sign of that.

treat your body right and with respect - it does so much for you. 💖💖💖 #weightgain #fitness #foodnoise #healthyrelationshipwithfood #stomachissues
