... Read moreTaking care of yourself is not just a luxury but a necessity that impacts your mental and emotional well-being. From personal experience, I’ve learned that setting firm boundaries about how I allow others to treat me is crucial. When you prioritize treating yourself with respect and care, you send a powerful message to those around you about your worth. In my daily routine, I make sure to dedicate time for activities that recharge me—whether it's reading, meditating, or simply enjoying a quiet moment with a cup of tea. It’s during these moments that I reinforce the mindset expressed in the phrase, “how I treat myself so why would I accept anything less.” This principle helps me stay aligned with my values and refuses to accept anything or anyone that diminishes my self-worth. Moreover, maintaining high standards in how others treat you encourages healthier relationships. It sets clear expectations and often prompts others to reflect on their behavior. If you find yourself constantly compromising or feeling undervalued, it might be time to assess your boundaries. Remember, the energy you invest in yourself shapes your overall happiness. To anyone feeling stuck or undervalued, I recommend starting small—acknowledge your needs and make conscious choices that reflect your self-respect. This could mean speaking up when something doesn’t feel right, seeking supportive company, or even just showing kindness to yourself daily. Over time, these small affirmations and actions will build a stronger foundation of self-care and self-love.

my whole life i defined consistency as perfection. if i slipped up, missed a day, made a mistake, then in my head i “broke my streak” and had to start all over again (which is super discouraging) but consistency isn’t doing everything exactly right every day. it’s about showing up to the table -
