BITTERSWEET: THE SWEET SERIES BOOK 2 - Joan Vassar
This is my 3️⃣rd polyamory romance book. These books are always good, that's why I love reading them. The story is so well written that you'll feel like you're there. Bae-bay, Ms. Joan did it AGAIN! I'm absolutely in love with the Jacksons. The love, tenderness, affection, care, intimacy, and family unit they created from hurt and pain are mesmerizing. The spicy scenes were WOW!! Lol, Buckle up”! You will definitely be in for a ride.

This story picks up right where Sweet Honesty left off. Queens, New York 1951 Lamont travels to New York hoping to get Michael back, but things don’t work in his favor. Jack opens his home to Lamont for the night, which turns into many nights. As Lamont begins to confront parts of himself that he has tried so hard to keep hidden, feelings start to blossom, but there’s only one thing missing. Vicki. Although Lamont is attracted to Jack, he can’t deny his love for his wife. Vickie finds herself caught loving a man she realizes she doesn't fully understand. This saga begins in Atlanta, Georgia, but travels to New York City to add a layer of complication to the couple's story - a handsome complication named Jack.
I started this book with the intention of not liking Lamont. But Mont endures many things with his family, especially his mother. That woman is evil 🐍.
Lamont, Jack, and Victoria. I wasn't sure they would make it work, but they did. I loved how they were very intuitive to each other's feelings and worked through things as adults. Their love for each other was beautiful. The family they created with each other and their support system from friends and family added to the story. The strong circles between the characters' blood relatives, found families, co-workers, neighbors, and friends run deep and reinforce the idea that love is simply what we make it. I am so glad Michael and Lamonte were able to work through their past hurts and become friends. Thank God.
