What’s in my Art Bag? 🎨👝✨

Ik it’s probably not that much or it’s not what I need but I don’t really mind. I just like painting randomly with friends and having something extra I can do :)

Here’s a list view of what I have:

• Paint towel for brushes to tap in

• Paint cup

• Brushes (I also have brushes for when I bleach things)

• Acrylic paint bin that’s just a collection of paints I acquired overtime

• Colored Sharpies (for outlines if I desire)

• Extra canvases

• Watercolor pallet

When selecting a bag for artists, I’ve found that the size and compartments matter a lot. Having a dedicated space for brushes, paints, and canvases keeps things organized and easy to carry. For me, a medium-sized bag that fits my paint towel, paint cup, and acrylic paint bin works best because it’s portable yet spacious enough for everything. Another tip is to consider the materials of your supplies. For example, watercolor pallets are versatile for quick sketches, while acrylics offer vibrant colors. I also like adding colored Sharpies for outlines or extra detail, which makes my art bag more multifunctional. Extra canvases are super handy to have on hand during painting sessions with friends—they let me experiment without worrying about running out. And if you dabble in other crafts, including brushes for bleaching or other specific uses can be a game-changer. From my experience, keeping your art bag stocked with favorites but not overpacked helps maintain the joy of spontaneous creativity without feeling overwhelmed. It’s all about balancing what fuels your art-making the most!
