How I keep my stomach lean and shaped

First thing genetics plays a big role in the shape of my waist. There’s workouts you can do to maintain it and get definition but it won’t change your bone structure.

What I did was first do a lot of cardio and did a calorie deficit. I ran on the treadmill everyday and in the beginning was only able to do 10 mins but after 3 days I would increase it by 2 minutes. After that I would follow cardio workout videos on YouTube.

Once my stomach was toned I stopped running and started doing toning exercises for my waist. For me I saw when I was running I would loose the shape in my waist so just doing the toning workouts worked better for me after I already started to get in shape.

I also have a weighted hula hoop which is really convenient I do it while I’m watching tv ect..

Stretching is also really important!!

My fav workouts is any type of crunch and Russian twists with a weight. I also like side dips with a weight as well!

Also portion control when you eat is really big so I like to have small snacks or meals through the day rather than a big meal in one sitting.

It’s a fun way to engage your core without feeling like a chore. And don't underestimate the power of stretching! Stretching, as demonstrated by channels like Nora Day with her 'Side Stretch for a Tiny Waist,' improved my flexibility and helped me feel more connected to my body during workouts. Diet plays an equally crucial role. My approach to portion control isn't about deprivation, but about mindful eating. Instead of large, infrequent meals, I found that having smaller, balanced meals and healthy snacks throughout the day kept my energy levels stable and prevented overeating. I always aim for a good balance of protein, healthy fats, and complex carbohydrates. Staying hydrated is also super important – sometimes what feels like hunger is actually just thirst! Finally, remember that everyone's body is different, and genetics play a part. My journey was about finding what worked for me to achieve my desired stomach shape and lean midsection. Be patient with yourself, celebrate small victories, and focus on building a healthy lifestyle rather than just chasing a number on the scale. Consistency truly transforms your body and helps you maintain that lean belly you’re working towards. Keep experimenting with different workouts and eating habits until you find your perfect rhythm!
