When life feels unfair...
Life often throws us into situations where fairness seems absent, and the pain feels overwhelming. During these times, I’ve found it incredibly helpful to remember that "This pain is not permanent" and that "This place is not final," as the scripture Hebrews 13:14 (NIV) suggests. These words remind me that our current struggles are just a season, not the entirety of our story. Embracing this perspective can change how we face challenges. Instead of feeling stuck, we can see hardships as temporary pain that shapes us and prepares us for growth. There have been moments in my life when I was faithful yet faced inexplicable difficulties, and it was tempting to lose hope. However, focusing on the promise of "the city that is to come" gave me a sense of peace and purpose. Another important lesson is accepting that some seasons "don't make sense." Faith doesn’t always provide immediate answers, but it does encourage us to trust beyond what we see. Supporting myself with prayer and reflection during these confusing times helped me cultivate patience and resilience. In daily life, this approach encourages me to practice gratitude even in tough moments and to seek community support. Sharing experiences with others going through similar hardships creates a powerful bond and mutual encouragement. Faith isn’t about avoiding pain but about navigating it with the hope that it is temporary and that something better awaits. If you're struggling to make sense of unfairness in your life, take heart in knowing you are not alone. Lean into your faith, hold onto the eternal hope, and remember that every painful season is part of a larger journey toward healing and peace.
