Saw many people raving about WoodFire in JB so I had to try it and i was disappointed bleh...
Because it was bad im not gonna rate every single dish... maybe its just inconsistent and I am unlucky enough to try a bad one👎. the burgers are interesting definitely like using beef brisket and special sauces and one thing i did like was the amount of sauce, they really spammed the sauce in the burger HOWEVER i had trouble finishing my burger, the brisket was DRY and got JELAT rather quickly... chicken was dry too and the dough was so hard and thick , the texture wasnt satisfying at all 🥲 curly fries were standard , maybe mcdonalds curly fries would be better... strawberry milkshake was ok but a lil too sweet 😩 n if ur thinking of getting a cheap burger option, nah fam its expensive, sg mcdonalds would be cheaper of course. i think i spent like 30sgd?? not sure but ik i was a lil surprised at how much it costed
💭 Thoughts: its very instagrammable but i gotta be honest with my reviews, it sucked for me and my bf 🫠 if u had a good experience COMMENT DOWN WHERE U WENT ON WHAT U ORDERED so mayb i can try a better branch 🙏🙏🙏 my fav was the cheese sauce , tats abt it...
🤔Would go again? : Nahhh, Id rather spend on other better cafes in JB ngl
📍Address: Woodfire Burger, Eco Spring JB
SAVE THIS AS A REMINDER WHEN U VISIT JB!! comment other jb fast food to tryy 🙏😩🤝
... Read moreWhen I first planned my trip to WoodFire Burger at Eco Spring JB, I was excited by all the positive reviews online about their unique beef brisket burgers and special sauces. However, after my visit, I realized how much food experiences can really vary by location and even by menu item.
One thing I noticed was that while the sauce was generously applied and flavorful, the brisket itself was quite dry and became gel-like quickly, which made eating the burger less enjoyable. The chicken burger was also dry, and the dough felt excessively thick and hard, which affected the overall texture. As for the sides, the curly fries were average at best—almost like what you’d expect from fast food chains, and the strawberry milkshake, although tasty, was overly sweet for my liking.
It's worth noting that the pricing surprised me as well; the burgers were more expensive than local fast food options, making it hard to justify the cost given the experience.
If you're considering trying WoodFire Burger, I'd recommend checking out reviews for the specific branch you plan to visit since quality and consistency might vary. Also, reaching out to locals or frequent visitors about their go-to orders could enhance your experience. Personally, I would try different cafes around JB next time, but the cheese sauce at WoodFire was a redeeming highlight worth mentioning.
For anyone else who’s tried this place, sharing your favorite dishes and experiences could really help those of us on the fence about returning or visiting for the first time.
Lowkey went there and the burgers there isn’t really too good didn’t rly taste like a burger but more of like a sweet burger vibe could be just personal opinion but wouldn’t recommend
Try Smok'd at Uda. Nice
