A quick grwm makeup
Mornings can be a whirlwind, right? Between hitting snooze one too many times and rushing out the door, a complicated makeup routine just isn't happening. That's why I've perfected my go-to quick GRWM (Get Ready With Me) makeup routine that gets me looking fresh and put-together in under 15 minutes. It’s all about efficiency and using products that do double duty! First things first, glowing skin is the best canvas! After a quick splash of water and toner, I swear by a good hydrating serum. Lately, I've been loving one that's packed with VITA-boosts – it just makes my skin feel plump and ready for makeup, and I feel like it really helps my makeup sit better throughout the day. Don't skip this step, it makes all the difference! Next up, I tackle my base. Instead of heavy foundation, I reach for a lightweight tinted moisturizer or a BB cream for a natural finish. I apply it quickly with my fingers or a damp sponge. For any stubborn dark circles or blemishes, I use a creamy concealer, dabbing it gently with my ring finger to blend seamlessly. The goal here is to even out my skin tone, not mask it entirely. Brows frame the face, and thankfully, mine don't need much. A quick swipe of a tinted brow gel is usually enough to tame them and add a little definition. If I have an extra minute, I might fill in any sparse areas with a brow pencil, but for a speedy routine, the gel is my best friend. For eyes, I keep it super simple. I skip eyeshadow entirely or use a neutral eyeshadow stick that I can just swipe across my lid and blend with my finger. A few coats of my favorite volumizing mascara instantly opens up my eyes and makes me look more awake. No eyeliner needed for this quick look! To add some life back to my face, I grab a cream blush. I love how easily cream blushes blend into the skin, giving a natural flush. I apply a little to the apples of my cheeks and blend upwards towards my temples. Sometimes, I'll dab a tiny bit on my lips for a cohesive look. If I'm feeling a little extra, a touch of bronzer under my cheekbones and around my hairline adds warmth and definition without much effort. Finally, for lips, a hydrating lip balm, a tinted lip gloss, or a sheer lipstick is all I need. Something that adds a pop of color but is easy to reapply throughout the day without a mirror. My current obsession is a peachy nude gloss that makes my lips look juicy and plump. And that’s it! This quick GRWM makeup routine leaves me feeling confident and ready to tackle whatever the day throws at me, without sacrificing precious sleep. It's all about finding what works for you and embracing your natural beauty with a few strategic touches. Give it a try and let me know your favorite speedy makeup hacks!
