A quick grwm makeup
Hey beauties! ✨ I've been absolutely loving the 'less is more' approach lately, and it's completely transformed my morning routine. If you're like me and want to achieve that fresh, effortlessly chic look that Northern European girls rock, then you're probably already into the Scandi beauty trend without even knowing it! It's all about enhancing your natural features, focusing on healthy, glowing skin, and a touch of subtle makeup. For my quick GRWM (Get Ready With Me), I start with a really good skincare base. Seriously, this is non-negotiable for that Scandi glow! I make sure my skin is super hydrated – think serums and a lightweight moisturizer. I've found that when my skin feels plump and happy, I need way less foundation. Speaking of foundation, sometimes I skip it altogether! If I do use one, it's something light like a tinted moisturizer or a BB cream that just evens out my skin tone without masking it. The goal is for my skin to still look like... well, skin! Next up, a little concealer under the eyes and around any redness, blended out seamlessly. The key here is not to overdo it; we're just brightening and perfecting, not creating a blank canvas. Then, a touch of cream blush on the apples of my cheeks, blended upwards towards my temples. This gives such a natural flush and really wakes up my face. For lips, I usually go for a tinted balm or a sheer gloss – something that adds a hint of color and hydration without being too 'done.' Brows are important but still kept natural. I just use a clear brow gel to brush them up and keep them in place, maybe filling in any sparse areas with a brow pencil if I have an extra minute, but always with light, feathery strokes. And finally, a quick curl of the lashes and a coat of mascara. Nothing too heavy, just enough to open up my eyes. Sometimes, if I'm feeling fancy, I'll add a tiny bit of liquid highlighter to the high points of my face for that extra dewy finish, but it’s always subtle. What I love most about this Scandi-inspired GRWM is how quick and practical it is for everyday life. It takes me less than 15 minutes, and I feel polished, confident, and ready to take on the day without feeling like I'm wearing a ton of makeup. It's truly about embracing your unique beauty and letting your natural radiance shine through. Have you tried incorporating Scandi beauty principles into your routine? I'd love to hear your thoughts and favorite products for achieving this look!
