From the Epstein scandal to numerous trafficking cases, powerful individuals evade accountability due to wealth, influence, or systemic corruption. This creates a culture where violence remains hidden behind privilege and fear, deterring survivors from seeking justice. Personally, I’ve seen how advocacy and collective voices play a crucial role in demanding change. Campaigns like #JusticeForSurvivors and #EndCorruption raise awareness and pressure institutions to reform. For survivors, sharing their truths can be empowering but comes with risks, underscoring the urgent need for protective measures in the legal system. At the heart of the issue is the question: what kind of justice are we upholding? When survival is punished harder than abuse, society fails its most vulnerable. Real justice means dismantling corrupt systems, supporting survivors with compassion, and holding abusers accountable regardless of their status. I encourage everyone to speak up, educate themselves about these injustices, and support organizations fighting for systemic reform.
