Astral Travel (Astral Projection) refers to the concept of a spiritual or esoteric practice where a person's consciousness (or Astral Body) is believed to separate from their physical body & travel to another plane of existence. Often this plane is referred to as the Astral Plane, because the Astal Plane consists of the three sections (Lower Astral Plane, Middle Astral Plane & Upper Astral Plane) are closest to the Physical Plane (where we exist within our physical body form) that we live on. . This experience is also known as an out-of-body-experience (OBE). While there's no scientific evidence to support the existence of astral projection, it's a popular concept in spiritual and New Age communities.
The core idea is that consciousness can exist independently of the physical body. During astral projection, this consciousness is said to travel to the Astral Plane. This is described as a non-physical realm, often connected to but distinct from the physical world.
Benefits of Astral Projection are that it can lead to personal growth, spiritual insights & a deeper understanding within one's consciousness. Related concepts to Astral Projection are Lucid Dreaming while still being aware of being in one's physicsl body & also the (N.D.E.) near death experience. Whereas there is no scientific evidence yet to support Astral Projection, there are millions of accounts of people experiencing the same situations & experiences. There are even commonalities between Astal Projection, Lucid Dreams & the Near Death Experience.
I will cite one example from my life. Leading into volunteering for a conference on the Afterlife, I had been Astral Projecting daily for years. I self taught myself how to Astral Project through meditation. Admittedly, previously I had purchased books on these topics, but honestly, I had not cracked them open after purchase.
The sole presenter on the last day was a celebrated, award winning author. They had a near death experience back in the 80s. Her book, & presentation was on that experience.
I was running the online aspect of the hybrid conference. My attention was called when she started her four hour presentstion with, "There is nothing different from the experience of Astral Travel, Remote Viewing or Near Death
Experience...". Over the next hours, the employee next to me would ask a question out loud. I would answer every time based upon my experience from Astral Projection. Over the course of five minutes, to twenty minutes that followed, the exact same answer to that question came during the presentation.
I had goosebumps during her presentations when she touched onto the healing cave experience. This is because it was a personal confirmation to me on her opening statement. I was privileged to go to lunch with her, & one other person, for what turned into an almost five hour lunch. During that lunch, the presenter & I ping ponged back & forth with every specific details of that healing cave. Colors, sounds, smells, textures, tastes, exact placements down to the millimeter of every aspect of the cave.
This was unquestionably the same place. She was once there, after her NDE when she was blindfolded and escorted in. I went there, without the blindfold & on my own accord. This happened daily for years through Astral Projection, even four decades later.
Whereas Astral Projection is primarily a subjective experience that day squashed any doubt for me. What I mean about subjective experience is the fact that the account is based on personal perception and interpretation, rather than objective, measurable phenomena.That being said, that was enough proof for me.
I will spend the most time discussing the Astral Realm. This is will be because this is the place the majority of people will go whether Astral Projection, Lucid Dreaming, N.D.E. or any other form of O.B.E.. Although there are many other levels, the 3 mainly accepted levels are Physicsl Plane, Astral Plane (which is broken into 3 levels) and the Spiritual Plane.
Physical Plane - to have a human experience to learn, develop & ascend to higher levels of oneself. This existence is within a physical body.
Astral Plane - The Astral Plane is divided into 3 parts: he lower, middle & upper. When a soul passes away (from the physical body) it usually travels to one of the three Astral Planes. One can also access the Astral Plane temporarily while still alive through: O.B.E., Astral Projection, dreams &/or meditation.
In the Lower Astral Plane, negative entities reside based upon what actions they took while alive in the Physical Plane. Examples of these people are: murderers, rapists, robbers. It is where people face the Karma that they have incurred during their life in the Physical Plane. Because of their actions, by the Law of Attraction, they go here. Here they accrue more of what they did on the Physical Plane. Once again, people are there based upon their own actions. In the Christian faith, some would call this level Hell & is where demons reside.
Now before I move to the next level within the Astral Plane, it is important to note several things about the Lower Astral Plane. In accessing the Astral Realm through meditation, with the intention to Astral Project, it is beneficial to say, "Please take me to the Highest (Astral) Level possible for me.". I have meditated to Astral Project hundreds of thousands of times, and have 100% always bypassed this level. That being said, I also do watch my thoughts, words and actions on the Physical Plane.
For those at this plane, if you take Soul level accountability, & ask for forgiveness, there is a potential for it to be obsolved. In the deeper, more permanent way (even when on the Physical Realm) doing the shadow work, & self growth, is a more reliable way to sustain remaining away from the Lower Astral Realm. Those outsiders sending love, & compassion, to those stuck in this realm can help them move out of this level to the Middle Astral Realm.

Some believe that nightmares, & night terrors, involves exploration of the Lower Astral Realm, which is associated with chaotic energies & negative entities. It is not necessarily the case.
Most scientific explanations point to a disordered arousal from deep sleep (non-REM sleep). Night terrors are a sleep disturbance characterized by sudden, often terrifying reactions during the transition between sleep stages, rather than a conscious journey into other realms
In either case, addressing underlying sleep issues, & emotional distress (with a doctor, therapist, psychologist, counselor or healer) can help manage, or reduce, night terrors. These types of dreams can help us work through (metaphorically or literally) issues from our everyday awake life, in a safer manner. Whether, or not Astral Projection, Lucid Dreaming can be an effective ways to get through the dream. Dreams can be a very effective way to let go of, & process, what is occurring in the waking life. This safer method is even easier with the dissociation aspect of the Lucid Dream.
A quick example, when I was six I was bit, & scratched, by a cat. The saliva got into my bloodstream. It took weeks in the hospital & multiple operations to get the infection out. They were not only trying to prevent me from loosing my arm, if this toxin got to my heart, it would mean death.
I had one reoccuring night terrors in metaphoric form, upon returning home from the hospital. On the third night I no longer was paralyzed (literally could not move & no sound would come out when I screamed for help) or a cold sweat. I thought myself how to Lucid Dream. I slept soundly from then on out, & no longer was phobic of cats (except Siamese cats) in waking life. That was a good thing, because my family had 2 cats (neither was who attacked me).
The Middle Astral Level is where the people go who are not particularly spiritual/religious, but are good people in their daily thoughts, words & actions. The majority of people fall within this level. When they reach the Middle Astral Level, they will meet teachers, & lessons, that will assist them on their Spiritual Journey (even though they are unaware they are on a Spiritual Journey). Here they will continue to grow, & develop, on thr Astral Plane for their next reincarnation where hopefully they will expand and grow even more.

The Upper Astal Realm are for advanced souls. Some call them developed souls given they have committed to a spiritual path. They typically do not do things awful. There are advanced beings, & advanced teachers, there. Like on the other Astral Planes, they will continue to have lessons to continue their development. The souls that are at the Upper Astral Plane are the only group that can move within the three Astral Realms if they care too.
Spiritual Realm - Source, Divine , God
Astral Travelers are adept at lucid dreaming & Astral Travel. They have the ability to have (O.B.E.) out-of-body experiences, to fulfill their purpose to help humanity evolve.
Astral Travelers go to other dimensions via dreaming &/or transcendental meditation. They are carriers of universal creative energy & generate innovations. These Lightworkers are responsible for many art & technology inventions.

In addition to the Astral Plane, the Physical Plane represents our tangible earthly existence, while beyond the Astral is the Spiritual Plane, often regarded as the realm of Source or Divine energy. Practitioners and Lightworkers who engage in Astral Travel often employ techniques such as meditation and lucid dreaming to facilitate their journeys. These experiences not only provide personal growth and spiritual insight but are also believed to unlock creative energies that influence art, technology, and innovation. The relationship between Astral Projection, lucid dreaming, and near-death experiences (NDEs) reveals common elements of conscious awareness beyond the physical body, suggesting a broader spectrum of human consciousness and its potentials. Moreover, understanding and managing night terrors, which some speculate may involve exploration of the Lower Astral Plane, often benefits from psychological and medical support, highlighting the intersection between spiritual experiences and scientific explanations.
