-sterilize bottles and bottle tops as well as pacifiers and pump parts as well , before giving to baby (they say in instructions in boxes I just didn’t see that ) whether u get a sterilizer or not isn’t much difference u can boil water and set bottles in water for 5 minutes I recommend sterilizing
