Sewing a Capsule Wardrobe Dress
I think I've been taking longer on my sewing projects not only bc I hate working the straps but also bc I want to work on more capsule wardrobe type pieces which I feel most people aren't too interested in it.
I know that this isn't the ideal color for most people when it comes to capsule wardrobe pieces but as someone who values silhouettes over colors, I think this is going in the right direction. I already own a bunch of black and hot pink. I can always layer over or under bc the silhouette is there!
I don't plan on working with that bodice piece again. Unfortunately the entire pattern is kinda frustrating to me but the skirt pattern is the perfect length so I may be starting up a new dress very soon!
