Hiking to Moonshine Arch 🌟

Me, my husband, and his family hiked up to Moonshine Arch !! It was a little bit more than I expected 😅 we brought kiddos along so that was a challenge for sure! If you bring kids, if you’re not wanting to carry them, then I would suggest they be about 6 or so. It’s a 40 minute hike, but it’s beautiful and definitely worth it!!

This moderately challenging 40-minute hike is located in Utah, where stunning landscapes and natural beauty abound. The trail leading to Moonshine Arch is characterized by its beautiful scenery, making it an ideal choice for those who appreciate nature. When planning your hike, ensure you prepare for the terrain, as it can be a bit tricky for younger children or novice hikers. If you are hiking with kids, it’s best if they are around six years old or more to manage the trail comfortably without being carried. Before your hike, consider packing essential supplies such as water, snacks, and sunscreen, as the Utah sun can be intense during summer months. Dress comfortably and wear sturdy hiking shoes for traction and support. Also, check the weather forecast as conditions can change, impacting your hike experience. If you're interested in unique geological formations, Moonshine Arch, a natural sandstone arch, offers great photo opportunities, particularly at sunrise or sunset. Lastly, engage the kids by encouraging them to spot wildlife or interesting plants along the trail, making the adventure not just a hike but also a fun learning experience.
