🌟 THE MIRROR OF LIFE
A woman once walked into the studio of an old master.
She said: “I want you to paint me. Beautiful. Smiling. Successful. Just as everyone expects me to be.”
But instead of a brush, the master gave her a mirror.
“Look,” he said.
And when she looked, she lowered her eyes.
“I see a woman who lived her whole life for others.
She became what they expected.
She never held the brush herself.”
The master smiled gently:
“Then everyone else has been painting you.
But you’ve never held the brush in your own hand.”
She hesitated:
“But I’m already forty. What remains of me if I remove everything others have created?”
And the master answered:
“What remains is what has always lived within you.
You simply never allowed it to come out.”
He placed a brush in her hand.
“Now paint. Not who you’re supposed to be.
Who you want to be.”
And as she painted, the first line was uncertain.
The second—bolder.
The third—already hers.
For the first time, she recognized herself.
Not through the eyes of others,
but through the truth inside.
✨ Because she wasn’t painted by others.
She was painted by herself.
💡 The Message
Others will always have opinions. Always.
But what matters is not what they make of you.
What matters is what YOU create with your life.
So don’t wait until you’re forty, fifty, or sixty.
Take the brush now.
Paint the life that is truly yours.
🔥 And I ask you: which line of your life is waiting for you to draw today?
