Tap water costs $0.003 per gallon. Bottled water? Approximately $9.60—a 320,000% markup. Most bottled brands source from the same municipal systems—repackaged, marketed, and resold back to us in plastic.

It’s not innovation. It’s arbitrage. Public infrastructure, private profit.
