THEY SAY
The day you left us without even a goodbye, I felt something leave my body. I felt something deep inside of me die.
People say things will get better and that time heals all. I'm living proof that's not true because night after night, it's still your name that my heart calls.
They say I have to let you go and that I just have to try. But I hold onto you tighter even though they don't understand why.
The guilt inside of me tears me apart. People don't understand it, and to try and explain, I wouldn't even know where to start.
I wasn't there for you, like you needed me to be. That's something I can't forgive, no matter how much they disagree.
I'll forever be sorry for the things I did and didn't do. But I'm sorry means absolutely nothing when I can't say it to you.
Now, I don't know how to live day after day without you by my side. As soon as you left me, a huge part of me died.

I understand. But we have other children that needs us. We will keep their beautiful memories alive and sometimes when we are telling their stories we will have a smile. No parent should ever have to go through this, it’s a terrible nightmare. We have to stay strong for our child that needs us. I Love You Always Forever N Ever Amen.
