Youth Sunday
A good word this past Sunday! Nothing short of amazing. Gods presence was truly in the place
During Youth Sunday gatherings, it often becomes clear how impactful hearing God's voice can be, especially to young people navigating identity and decision-making. One lesson that stood out to me involved recognizing and rejecting the 'wrong voices'—those negative influences that distort our sense of self and misdirect our life choices. This idea strongly resonates with many youths trying to find their path. What helped me personally was focusing on scriptures like Genesis 3:15, which speaks of a savior coming to save the lost. It reminds us that, despite our mistakes or failures, God’s grace remains constant and failures don’t catch Him by surprise. Embracing this truth has given me confidence and peace—not to rely on harsh self-criticism or outside noise, but to listen closely to God’s voice that brings victory and forgiveness. One practical approach I recommend is spending regular time reading the Bible and reflecting on its teachings, especially when feeling uncertain or overwhelmed by opposed voices. It’s empowering to learn how to prove the enemy wrong not through strength, but by anchoring ourselves in God’s promises and Word. Youth Sunday offers a beautiful space where young believers can come together, experience God's presence, and be reminded that their true identity lies in Him. This experience affirms that God’s voice is the only one that ultimately matters and inspires us to live boldly under His guidance. If you ever doubt your direction, remember that God’s grace can restore and renew your spirit, no matter the setbacks.
