Gratitude journal spread! 🫶🏻
Looking for a journal soread idea? Try making a list of things that you are grateful for!
Last week was a really hard week for me and I was feeling really low. I decided to make a list of all the good things in my life that I was grateful for and immediately felt so much lighter.
Think to yourself, what am I appreciative of today? What am I thankful for? What is bringing good energy into my life? Then, write it down! It felt so healing for the soul. #lemon8partner #lemon8diy #journaling #journalidea #journalspread
Starting your day with gratitude can truly set a positive tone, and I've found that integrating a gratitude journal into my morning routine has been a game-changer. It's not just about writing; it's about consciously shifting your mindset before the day's demands begin. Making Gratitude Part of Your Morning Ritual You don't need hours! Even 5-10 minutes can make a difference. Here's how I fit it in: Before checking your phone: This is crucial for me. I grab my journal and a pen even before I look at emails or social media. This protects that precious morning stillness. With your morning drink: Whether it's coffee, tea, or water, make your journal a companion. Find a quiet spot: A comfy chair by a window, your bed, or even a quiet corner of your kitchen. The goal is to minimize distractions. No pressure: Don't feel like you need to write pages. Just a few bullet points or a short paragraph can be incredibly powerful. Remember, this is a "JOURNAL SPREAD diy idea" for your soul, not a chore! Beyond the Basics: Daily Affirmation Journal Prompts While simply listing what you're grateful for is wonderful, sometimes a little prompt can spark deeper reflection. And connecting gratitude with affirmations can amplify the effect. Here are some of my favorite prompts that help me dig a little deeper, often inspired by things like my 'support system' or even just the simple joy of 'podcasts' I love: What small, unexpected joy brightened my day yesterday that I can carry into today? Who in my life am I most grateful for right now, and why? How can I show them appreciation? What challenge am I currently facing, and what strength or resource do I have to overcome it? (This helps shift focus from problem to solution, fostering resilience.) List three things about myself that I am proud of or grateful for today. What aspects of my daily routine, no matter how mundane, am I thankful for? (Think running water, a warm bed, a favorite song.) If I were to affirm my feelings of gratitude, what would I write? (e.g., "I am grateful for this new day and all the opportunities it holds." or "I am grateful for the love that surrounds me.") How can I 'plant the seed' of gratitude today to 'get the fruit' of joy and peace? (Referencing the image quote, integrating it naturally). What skill or talent do I possess that I'm grateful for, and how can I use it to benefit others today? Incorporating these prompts and affirmations has transformed my journaling experience. It helps me not just list what I'm grateful for, but truly feel it and carry that positive energy throughout my entire morning and beyond. It’s a simple act that truly helps heal the soul and brings so much good energy into my life, just like when I wrote down 'God, support system, and podcasts' – those are my anchors.
