"Hana" in "Hana wa Saku" seems to refer to Gerbera, and Shunji Iwai, who wrote the song, mentioned that one of the reasons why he chose the flower language of Gerbera is "hope, always moving forward, patience."
I painted a yellow gerbera, meaning "ultimate love," and around it I wrote the word "hope" in languages around the world.

When I took a sign language class at the university, I learned that the death rate of people with disabilities in the Great East Japan Earthquake was twice that of the entire population (among them, deaf people had the highest proportion) .I hope that sign language will become commonplace in the field of music, and that the circle of sign language will expand, and that both hearing and hearing people will live together with "support, love, and help love" 🌏

この『花は咲く』多言語バージョンは、世界中の異なる文化と言語を通じて復興支援のメッセージを届ける素晴らしい試みです。実際に複数の言語で歌うことは、聴く人の心に多様な響きをもたらし、被災地の方々だけでなく国際社会にも共感と支援の輪を広げています。 私自身もこの歌を聴いて 、言葉は違っても「希望」や「愛」、「支え合い」の気持ちは共通だと強く感じました。歌詞に出てくる「ガーベラ」の花言葉である「希望、常に前進、忍耐」は、震災被害からの復興に取り組む方々の姿を象徴しています。特に黄色いガーベラで「究極の愛」を表現した絵は、温かく力強いメッセージを伝えてくれます。 また、手話を取り入れた歌唱は障がいを持つ方々にも参加しやすい環境作りの重要性を示しています。震災時の障がい者の死亡率が高かった背景を踏まえ、音楽や社会の中で手話の存在感を高めることは、より多様で包摂的な社会への一歩となるでしょう。私も手話を学び始め、このような取り組みに共感しています。 これらの多言語表現と手話の融合は、単なる音楽の枠を超え、言葉の壁、人種や文化の違いを超えて人と人が繋がり合う力を実感させてくれます。復興支援ソングとしての『花は咲く』を聴くことで、一緒に復興の歩みを応援し、未来を明るくしていく気持ちになれることが何よりの価値です。
