LIVING AUTHENTICALLY,

From my experience, shifting from a survival mindset to what Dana calls an "above average mindset" can truly redefine how we relate to our life experiences. The survival mindset often traps us in negativity, making us feel as if life is constantly rejecting us or disappointing us. This mindset creates a loop where we measure ourselves by the hardships and setbacks we face, which leads to toxic emotions such as bitterness and betrayal. However, when you begin to dissolve this survival perspective, something powerful happens. Life seems to say "yes" more often — not because circumstances change immediately, but because your inner voice, your higher self, begins to speak louder than your fears and doubts. This inner child that Dana refers to benefits greatly from this shift; instead of internalizing negative messages, it gets reinforced with love, acceptance, and hope. In practical terms, embracing an above average mindset means being aware that you are not defined by negative life events. Each challenge is part of your growth, not your identity. You learn to respond to setbacks with resilience, understanding that these moments don’t betray you but offer valuable lessons. This mindset fosters self-compassion, emotional freedom, and a more authentic way of living. I found that participating in group journeys, much like Dana’s 6-week program, can provide accountability and a supportive environment to unravel these limiting thought patterns. Conversations, reflections, and guided exercises help to unravel the survival mindset and create pathways to positivity and empowerment. If you’re feeling stuck or overwhelmed by life’s challenges, trying such an approach can be transformative. Remember, the key is to start believing that life is not against you and that your best self was never betrayed by life; it only awaits your recognition and nurturing. This mindset shift can truly unlock new levels of personal growth and happiness.
