Mini book haul!

So glad I finally snagged these! My Barnes & Noble trip was super successful, and I walked out with some highly anticipated reads. I know a lot of you on #BookTok are always looking for the next great story, and these three have definitely been on my radar, making this mini book haul extra special. This is a massive YA fantasy series, and I've heard nothing but incredible things about its world-building and magic system. It’s set in a vibrant, West African-inspired world where magic has been suppressed, and one girl's quest to bring it back. If you're into epic journeys, powerful magic, and strong female leads, you need to add this to your TBR. The scope and ambition of this fantasy novel sound absolutely breathtaking. And for something a little different, "Murder Your Employer" by Rupert Holmes. The dark cover with red roses and gold accents has a classic, intriguing vibe. I love a good standalone mystery, and this one promises a darkly comedic look into a secret society that helps you, well, "murder your employer" without getting caught. It sounds like a witty, intelligent mystery that will keep me guessing. Doing a mini book haul like this is always such a joy.
