Growth is hard. regret is harder 🌸
Growth can feel lonely before it feels rewarding. What’s something you’ve outgrown this year? 👇
Growth often means stepping into the unknown, which can feel isolating and uncomfortable at first. From my experience, the hardest part isn’t the change itself but the regret that lingers when holding onto what no longer serves us. I’ve learned that it’s perfectly okay—and sometimes necessary—to outgrow not just people and places but also the versions of ourselves that no longer feel like home. One of the most profound realizations I've had is understanding that not everything from our past needs to accompany us into our future. Choosing peace over the comfort of familiarity is a brave decision. It might mean saying goodbye to habits, relationships, or environments that once shaped us but now hinder our growth. For example, I found myself tangled in routines that brought comfort but stifled my potential. Releasing those patterns felt like losing a part of myself, yet it opened the space for new opportunities and personal peace. True growth involves patience and self-compassion; it requires us to honor the process of becoming while forgiving the times we wish we could go back. If you’re going through a similar phase, remember that growth is a journey unique to each person. Embrace the discomfort as a sign of progress, and know that peace on the other side is worth every moment of uncertainty. What have you chosen to outgrow recently, and how has it shaped your path forward?
