Closer look at last of us inspired spread 🤗
This sketch I did a while ago is probably still one of my favorites 😊
I did put a lot of time into it and it was a stressful sketch session 🤣 it was going well but there was definitely fear of failure involved and I just pushed through 😊 I am still happy I finished it
I definitely need to get back into drawing zombies and monsters but I’m currently allowing myself to practice some of the foundations a little before starting to draw from imagination again 🤗
I have been feeling a little rusty in my anatomy skills when drawing from imagination, my art was starting to feel really stiff and not creative at all. Everything felt so flat and I sometimes couldn’t figure my way out of a drawing. It’s not fun to have an idea and feel like I don’t know how to put it together.
If you have seen the fly man I drew a couple of days ago, he was a start of getting a little bit of my groove back. I had the idea of this creature and I started with a silhouette of what I wanted the drawing to feel like. I had to pull up different references and combine characteristics I wanted into the drawing.
I also feel like I neeed to work on textures to add into my drawings to help make them feel more lifelike.
