Visited Gwangjang GAON at Jewel with friends and absolutely loved the environment and warm service. We tried their festival season special JJimak Chicken (S$39.90) — a generous portion that’s perfect for sharing.
The Deulgireum Makguksu (S$21.90) was a standout: cold buckwheat noodles drizzled with aromatic perilla oil and topped with crunchy perilla seeds. Super refreshing and light.
We also had the Classic Bibimbap (S$22.90), featuring a colourful mix of 13 ingredients including fresh vegetables and minced beef — hearty and satisfying.
Another highlight was the Modum-Jeon Platter (S$35.90), which included golden pan-fried bites of shrimp, pollack, zucchini, ground pork, and crab surimi, served with a tangy soy-vinegar dipping sauce.
For dessert, we ended with Hotteok with vanilla ice cream, a comforting sweet finish. Portions here are quite huge overall, making it a great spot for sharing dishes with friends.
