I started reading the poison study series this month and I absolutely love it??!!!!!! It’s about a girl who was about to be executed for murder but instead was give a choice between death & becoming a poison taster for the commander . She decides she’d rather live and be poisoned than die but her past haunts her and someone is constantly trying to kill her because of it . *ANOTHER book that I didn’t read the trigger warnings for and regretted* 🙃🙃 book 1 was only slightly triggering but book 2??? tuh . The series is still really good though I just wasn’t prepared
The staircase in the woods - I read this because I saw illumicrate/evernight doing an edition of it (which btw I LOVE & will be getting soon) and I actually really enjoyed this book! It’s about a group of friends who went camping in the woods and found a strange and random staircase just sitting there. One friend decided to go up and never came back down .
The never list / the female - these books are completely unrelated but they’re both reverse harem which I’m starting to realize I love 🙂↔️ . The never list was really good and it’s about 4 princes who do a yearly search for their shared mate but the women keep failing until the 6th one who has a power that she’s not supposed to have shows up . The female is about the decline of the female sex . Men become so desperate that no one is allowed to harbor women/female children unless they’ve paid for them. One girl gets lucky and ends up being purchased by three powerful demons. I’d probably give the spice in the female a 3 🌶️ & the never list a 3.5 🌶️
Silver elite was a good read too. This one is about mods (people who have psychic gifts) are sentenced to death or if they’re really powerful they can pledge their loyalty to the general. The MC hides her gifts and goes to join one of the most elite training programs (ran by the general’s son) so that she can take them down from the inside. The only problem is, she’s surrounded by people who hate her kind and want her dead.
