2️⃣ Re-flow – lightly moisten a lint-free cloth with denatured alcohol and glide with the grain; the alcohol softens the crazed shellac and releases the foreign coat.
3️⃣ Dry wipe – follow immediately with a clean cloth to lift the dissolved slurry.
4️⃣ Repeat until the surface levels and the original finish shines.
