assassins creed valhalla discussion
These videos are me discussing the game Assassins Creed Valhalla. There are a total of 8 videos, well originally it was 1 video that I split into 8 seconds for Lemon 8. I think I uploaded them in the right order, but if not, most the videos are also stand alone. At least the first 4-5 overall, the last 2 maybe ran together but I tried to make it so you could watch them all in any order. As long as you know the overall topic was about Assassins Creed Valhalla, as well as all the DLC. Just me giving my thoughts, and opinions on everything about the game and things I liked about it. Basically like an overall video review and my thoughts.

When I first started my journey with Assassin's Creed Valhalla, I was immediately drawn into its sprawling Viking world. For anyone wondering what this incredible video game is truly about, it's an epic saga following Eivor Varinsdottir, a fierce Viking raider, as they leave war-torn Norway to establish a new home for their clan in Anglo-Saxon England. The core of the plot revolves around building your settlement, Ravensthorpe, and forging alliances across the fractured kingdoms of England. It’s a fascinating blend of historical exploration, Norse mythology, and the ongoing, ancient conflict between the Hidden Ones and the Order of the Ancients. I found the way the game balanced these elements truly captivating, making Eivor's personal story feel both intimate and grand. The main narrative, without giving away major spoilers, is a rich tapestry of political intrigue, personal vendettas, and self-discovery. Eivor's quest for glory and a peaceful life for their clan constantly intertwines with ancient mysteries, the machinations of powerful figures, and the struggle against destiny itself. I particularly enjoyed how character relationships developed throughout the story, adding significant depth to the overall experience. The game truly launched back on November 10, 2020, coinciding with the release of the next-gen consoles, which felt like a massive event for the video games community at the time. It really showcased what new hardware could do, especially with its vast open world. One of my absolute favorite aspects, and something I know many players passionately discuss in *Assassin's Creed Valhalla forums*, is the settlement system centered around Ravensthorpe. This isn't just a static hub; it's a living, breathing community that grows organically with you. I loved seeing it evolve from a small, rudimentary camp into a bustling, prosperous village. You can build and upgrade various structures, each offering unique benefits: from the Hidden Ones' Bureau, which delves deeper into the Assassin lore, to the Barracks for recruiting Jomsvikingr, and the Seer's Hut for exploring mythical realms. There are also practical additions like a fishing hut, tattoo parlor, and even a museum. Each building unlocks new quests, resources, or gameplay mechanics, making your home base feel incredibly vital to your progression. Managing your settlement, going on raids to gather resources, and seeing the direct impact of your choices on your community really grounded Eivor’s epic adventures. It's not just about fighting and exploring; it's about building a legacy and a home. What were your favorite parts of developing Ravensthorpe? I always enjoyed customizing my longship and seeing new faces arrive in my village, making it truly feel like my own.
